Engels Cambridge Certificate Course I
Cambridge Certificate examinations are organised by the British Council independently of the Volksuniversiteit. Information about the levels and exams can be obtained via www.britishcouncil.nl and via your teacher. Examination fees (about 260 euro) are not included in the course fee. The 2-year course (classes will meet once a week over a period of 24 weeks per year) is meant for students who are able to tackle fairly complex situations in English. Several hours of coursework at home are required every week and can be assessed. Registering for the Cambridge First Certificate Exam at the end of the course is optional. Certificates of attendance of the Volksuniversiteit Courses will be handed out at the end of every year of study.
Van cursisten wordt verwacht dat zij minimaal 3 tot 4 jaar Engels op HAVO-niveau hebben gevolgd.
